New LIZZY BORDEN Album To Feature Appearances By Members Of TRIVIUM, Y&T

March 11, 2007

Shock rocker LIZZY BORDEN has revealed exclusively to KNAC.COM DJ Diana DeVille on the specialty show "WildSide" this past Saturday that the next full-length studio album from his namesake band will feature guest appearances by Y&T frontman Dave Meniketti and TRIVIUM guitarist Corey Beaulieu. According to Borden, Beaulieu was recruited to appear on the CD after Lizzy heard his work on TRIVIUM's latest album, "The Crusade", commenting that "the kid sure can play." BORDEN did not reveal the name of the new CD or the tracks that either musician will be playing on but did say that the album itself stands to be one of the band's heaviest efforts to date. No release date for the album has yet been set.

A four-and-a-half-minute trailer for LIZZY BORDEN's reissue of the band's 1989 original recording of "Master of Disguise", available now on Metal Blade Records, has been posted online at this location.

LIZZY BORDEN's "Master of Disguise" re-release is part of Metal Blade's 25th anniversary CD/DVD reissue series.
